CEO's and business owners have certain tendancies to overlook what's staring at them right in their face.

Maybe the thought that taking the longer, harder route in life or in business, will bring more reward.

Well in business, the only reward that counts is the reward of more business. More customers.

Since most small businesses haven't yet mastered marketing, the next best thing used to get new customer is typically word of mouth.

Now I've heard many people say they've operated their entire business life on "word of mouth" referrals and such.

The only problem with that as I see it, is soon it will be just as convenient and easy to do an online search for a business, vet their testimonials and make a quick, yet well informed decision on who you should give your business to.

Sometimes that "friend" who knows the "good" financial advisor isn't picking up his phone and you want to act "now".

Well this soon will most likely be a reality if trends continue. As a business owner, you want to make sure you have an automated referral system integrated into your business.

This way you can be in control of "proactively" seeking referrals, vs relying on them to happen by chance.

The second system you want to put in place in your business after the referral system is a testimonial getter.

This is going to also play a huge part of you being able to achieve credibility online, which we'll get into later.
