We all have our “inner game”, and when we learn how to foster it, we can be successful in anything we choose to pursue.
There are 4 important components to developing your inner game. These are:
Self esteem – Cultivate your feelings of your worth and value. Surround yourself with positive thoughts and positive people.
Self image – Develop the habit of constantly affirm yourself. The way you perceive yourself and the situations you will be in, are entirely dependent on you alone.
Self confidence – When you trust your decisions, man up to these, and face the music, it entirely changes the game.
Self discipline – Being consistent at what you do best, imposing deadlines and solid time management are factors that make self discipline an important component to success. Having skill alone won’t take you anywhere far–you must have both skill and discipline to get where you want to be.
Quality in these four areas is a necessary foundation to personal and professional success.
